The 3rd Way

In my current webinar series, I’m taking a deep dive into the O-A-R model, which is the foundation for much of my coaching and consulting work. In short, the model suggests that breakthrough results lie beyond problem solving – they lie in the domains of perspective-taking, self-awareness, systems thinking, great questions, and deep listening. In short, breakthrough results become possible when we ‘wake up’ to the limitations of our way of being. So far, I’ve spoken to two ways that we can discover new ‘ways of being’: we can (1) change the way we think about things (a change in our mind), and (2) change the way we feel about things (a change of heart). The 3rd way is perhaps the most complex, or perhaps simply the path we know the least about. The 3rd way is to change our biology. Research across many domains of science and medicine shows that changes in biology can have significant impacts on our results. Many biological changes can be evoked by simple shifts in our posture and everyday activities. For example:

If you’re interested in exploring this 3rd way for yourself, please join me for a post-Christmas webinar series. I’m not the mastermind behind this one – it’s hosted by Christian Elliot, a health and wellness coach who once helped me recover from a complete health meltdown. On Monday, December 26th, I’m joining him in the kickoff of his newest webinar series. Check out a few free videos that Christian created as precursors to these webinars, or click here to register for the 4-part webinar series directly. Though these particular webinars use weight loss as the catchphrase, they're really about changing your biology to support your goals, whatever those goals may be. Hope to 'see' you there!
