The Team Dialogue provides a strong foundation for improving communication among intact work groups and leadership teams. In today’s workplace, nothing happens without the coordination of action among colleagues. Groups’ and teams’ ability to have open and honest conversations, to have constructive conflict, to challenge one another with integrity and respect, to listen with genuine curiosity and a desire to understand, and to make the best use of meeting time will largely determine the organization’s success.
The Team Dialogue Indicator takes about 20 minutes for each team member to complete, then sets the stage for meaningful dialogue resulting in commitments to make meaningful shifts that will improve the dynamic of team conversations. To make adequate use of the tool, groups/teams must be willing to dedicate at least a full day for debriefing and discussion.
